Also called calophyllum oil, tamanu has been used for centuries to soothe and treat infectious skin conditions and inflammation. It contains calophyllolide (a neoflavonoid with anti-inflammatory properties), delta-tocotrienol (a form of vitamin E), and several other antioxidants that reduce environmental damage, promoting collagen and elastin growth.
